Retails sales and the number of tourists throughout the Golden Week holiday broke records in China's tourism industry. This year's National Day holiday, which marks the 1949 founding of the People's Republic of China, ran from September 29 through October 5. Figures released by the National Tourism Administration (NTA) showed the country's 119 major tourist destinations received more than 18.29 million visitors. That's an increase of 13.2% from a year earlier. The NTA also said ticket sales rose by 16.4% from last year which means there has been some easing upwards of prices. The country's retail sales during the Golden Week exceeded RM420 billion (about $61.3 billion), jumping 21% from the same holiday last year.

　　强大的旅游促销活动加上各种有利因素的共同作用，咸阳市在国庆黄金周期间呈现繁荣和火暴局面，全市累计接待游客70.16万人次，实现旅游综合收入2.65亿元人民币，与去年同期相比分别增长44.6%和59.2%。

　　今年以来，咸阳市以奥运为契机，不断加强宣传促销力度，先后在日本、韩国以及国内的上海、深圳、新疆、太原、内蒙古等省市强力促销。奥运会结束后，咸阳市与西安市联合推出了[奥运比赛在北京，快乐旅游在咸阳]景区（点）门票半价优惠活动。

　　另外，随着福银高速咸阳段、关中环线、礼泉旅游路泔河大桥的相继开通，近郊短线游、一日游等出行方便、耗时不多的休闲方式备受大家青睐，成为假日旅游经济新的增长点。据统计，[十一]期间，该市足疗场所就接待客人2.5万人次。(于忠虎)

地铁一号线规划西起咸阳市森林公园，东至纺织城，全长31.8公里。全线分两期建设，一期建设后围寨至纺织城段，线路全长25.5公里，其中后围寨至汉城 路段为高架桥，长5.38公里；汉城路至纺织城段为地下线，长19.85公里；过渡段0.27公里。一期工程共设车站19座，其中地下站15座，高架站4 座；车辆段及综合维修基地1处、停车场1处，主变电站2座，控制中心与二号线共用。一期工程总投资121.9亿元。
